The Connecticut Statewide Family Engagement Center (CFSP), led by the Capitol Region Education Council (CREC) in partnership with the State Education Resource Center (SERC), offers a comprehensive suite of services aimed at enhancing family engagement across Connecticut’s educational landscape. Funded by a $4.9 million, five-year grant from the U.S. Department of Education, the CFSP’s initiatives include:
- Technical Assistance and Training: Providing support to state educational agencies and local school districts to implement effective family engagement strategies.SlidePlayer
- Resource Development: Creating and disseminating tools and materials to assist families in supporting their children’s academic, social, and emotional development.
- Policy Implementation: Collaborating with partners to develop and expand proven family engagement policies and programs that lead to improved student outcomes.
