CPAC, one of our community partners, provided advocacy training to parents so they can effectively advocate for their children. They teach parents about the policy and programming in schools, especially how it relates to special education and 504 plans.

The Connecticut Parent Advocacy Center (CPAC) is a trusted CFSP partner that offers training workshops designed to empower families and professionals supporting children and youth with disabilities. These workshops are available in English and Spanish and can be tailored to meet the specific needs of various groups, including family and youth organizations, school systems, and professional agencies. Reading together at home is one of the most impactful ways to support a child’s academic and social-emotional growth. By connecting families and educators through shared stories, we:
